Keeping the family legacy intact, and following the footsteps of her architect father, Mrs.Heena Sharun found her calling in Architecture. She enrolled in MES College of Architecture to give color to her dreams. After graduating in 2010, she joined Techno Architects, Bangalore. During the one and a half years stint at the company, she was recognized for her exceptional talent and passion for interior designing. In the next phase of her professional journey, she joined her father’s firm, MS PC Rasheed and Associates as an Associate Architect.
With the power of knowledge and experience in her arsenal, she embarked on her odyssey to build her creative interior firm. Thus in 2017, her dream blossomed when Akom Architects became a reality. Akom, with Ms. Heena at its helm and her father Mr. Abdul Rasheed, a renowned architect in Kerala as its patron, has now carved out a niche in the realm of architecture.
