The contemporary residence at Thrissur

Nestled in the heart of Thrissur, Kerala, this contemporary home symbolizes the architectural prowess to build a functional space within a small piece of land. As we had to create a beautiful home within the heart of the city, we were steadfast in not building another cement block in the bustling cityscape. Moreover, building a home on a small piece of land was exciting and challenging.
Though we chose the contemporary block architecture for the exterior, the interiors were infused with the classic touch of traditional designs. Neutral colors were deliberately chosen to project the architectural designs including beams and pergolas. Similarly, neutral shades are ideal to mimic spaciousness. We carefully planned the positions of skylights and windows for the natural light to embrace the interiors.
